We offer shipping via USPS on all orders within the continental U.S. (For Hawaii and Alaska, please call for rates.) Sorry, we are not able to ship outside of the U.S.
We ship most in stock orders within 1-2 business days from the time of order. This means most of our orders will be received by the customer within 5-7 business days (excluding holidays). (Special orders will take additional time to expedite and for customer to receive.)
Most products are shipped via United States Postal Service. Products that are too large to ship USPS will be shipped by ground truck freight. Customer will be responsible for this freight. Customer will be contacted for verification and authorization. Orders with multiple items may be shipped from multiple locations. This will result in some items being received by customer at different times.
Rush Shipments:
Rush shipments are available at customer expense. We will ship out next day or second day air any product that UPS is able to ship in that manner.
Damaged Product:
If your product was damaged during shipping, you must contact the shipper (USPS) with in 48 hours of receiving the product. At that time you must file a damage claim with them.
Lost Product:
If a product is lost during shipping, we will contact the shipper and have it traced. If the shipper deems the packages to be lost, we will send out a replacement of the same item.
Returns:
A Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number is required. Please read the following information before requesting an RGA number:
Macon Feed and Seed will accept returns within 30 days of purchase. We will exchange UNUSED resalable original packaged item for another item of equal value. If the new item is of higher value, you will be responsible for the price difference. If the return is due to an error in the part of Macon Feed and Seed, we will arrange for Return Shipping by issuing a (1 time) call tag. It will be the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the part is ready for pick up with the RGA# labeled on the package. All returns must have an RGA# on the package or it will be refused at the time of delivery. If the package is not ready for pick up, it will be the customers responsibility for shipping expenses.
An RGA number is required for all returns. Please write the RGA number on the outside of the shipping package or on the packing slip, where it is visible. Please do not write on the original manufacturer’s box. Please note that any product returned for reasons other than being defective or damaged may be subject to a 25% restocking fee or $15.00 administrative fee, whichever is greater. If an undamaged order is refused by the customer at the time of delivery, the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges to and from our location.
Please return all products in "as-new" condition, in the original packaging with all the original warranty cards and installation instructions. There will be a $35.00 re-boxing fee for products returned in a damaged box. All returned merchandise will be inspected, and if they are not in "as-new" condition, additional charges will apply.
Macon Feed and Seed will not accept returns on products that were damaged as a result of abuse or improper installation. Macon Feed and Seed is not responsible for items not fitting or working correctly if the customer has given incorrect information or ordered incorrect parts. No returns on electrical items, painted or custom ordered items.
