Potatoes have been a staple in the world's food supply for hundreds of years. The great potatoe famine in Ireland led many to emigrate to America to forestall starvation. It is my hope that with the loss of the family farms and the dwindling number of people who know how to grow edible plants, that the famine of the end times will pass us by.
