Bermuda grass consists of nine species of grasses, native to warm temperate to tropical regions of the Old World. The genus as a whole as well as its species are commonly known as Bermuda Grass or Dog's Tooth Grass.
Bermuda grass is dormant in winter, but recovers quickly in warm weather. A dependable, permanent grass for lawns, golf courses and athletic fields. Hulled bermudagrass germinates quicker than unhulled.
Bermuda grass that is hulled grows good on sand soils, but will not grow in shaded areas or groves. Sow 10 lbs per acre for pasture and 3 lbs per 1,000 sq.ft. for lawns. Plant anytime (preferable February-July).
